Establishing the visual identity for a specialty coffee roaster focused on high-quality coffee and inclusivity.
Haven Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster and independently-owned coffee shop in Denver, Colorado. Haven’s mission is to create a safe space, or “Haven,” within the local community for all to enjoy the highest quality coffee without the aura of exclusivity common amongst other specialty coffee roasters. It’s a simple and welcoming approach to coffee in an increasingly complex industry. The visual identity was developed with this in mind, helping to create a brand that feels approachable & friendly, yet sophisticated.
The logo design process started with sketching and brainstorming some initial concepts, focusing on creatively utilizing the letter “h” within the design.
